Despite our announcement yesterday that the season would proceed, the Provincial Government has closed all indoor sport and recreational facilities as of January 5, 2022 until January 26, 2022. As a result, all hockey activities will remain on pause.
We apologize for the mixed messaging. Our announcement made last night was prior to the Lockdown measures being announced today. The decision was made to provide ice if were permitted to do so by the Government and Public Health, however, given the timing, it seems prudent to continue with our suspension of the season. We remain optimistic that we will be able to resume on January 27, 2022.
