Registration Information 2022/2023 Season


Caledon Female Hockey Association is pleased to be offering the following divisions:

*Some teams may require additional funds as agreed to by the parents and coaches. Rep teams will require additional fees in the range of $1850 - $2750 as communicated by the team coach.

Payment: online through RAMP


Ice time

  • For Fundamentals the payers will get 1 hour learn to play skills practice per week. Some exhibition games may be arranged after December.
  • For house league Novice to Bantam the players will get 1 game plus 1 hour skills practice per week.
  • For house league Midget the players will get 1 game per week plus a 1.5 hour practice every other week (TBD) 
  • For Rep League Players additional fees between $1,850 and $2,750 will be required depending on team’s budget and fundraising. The rep fees can be paid in 3 installments. See details under payment plans below.  Each rep team will recieve a minimum 2 hours practice per week and 1 regular season home game/1 regular season away game to be determined by age group and level.

Refund policy

For house league: 

  • Refunds requested before September 15th are subject to a $25 cancellation fee with the remainder of fees refunded. Refund requests after September 15th and up until October 31st will include a deduction of 30% of registration fees.   
  • From November 1st to the end of the year, a request for a refund may only be considered due to a serious medical reason or family moving to another community more than 30 minutes away from the Town of Caledon. The refund requests may be submitted in writing to the team manager and the CFHA Operating Committee.
  • No refunds for players leaving after December 31st.  

For Rep league:

  • Once a player has been signed to a representative team, the coach and player are mutually committed for the year. 
  • No refunds are issued for rep players.  

Registrations after September 1st must be paid in full at the time of registration.


Goalie Incentive.

  • All house league goalies from Peewee through Midget who play a full season will receive a $200 Pre-Paid gift card and a credit of $100 towards the following seasons’ Coyote’s registration. 
  • Limit one $200 Goalie incentive per team. First right of refusal to last season’s goalies, and then first come first served after that! 
  • Goalie incentive can be split between a maximum of 2 goalies per team, at the option of the 1st goalie registered. Such splits will need to be provided to CFHA in writing signed by parent/guardian of each Goalie.  
  • Gift cards will be distributed to eligible Goalies at the end of the season.  
  • Goalies may have the option of playing up a level if their division is full, space permitting.

Family discount
CFHA offers a family discount of $25 per sibling playing with CFHA. Please note that this discount will be returned to you after we have processed your registration application.

Novice to Midget “Bring a friend” discount.
We will refund $50 to any Coyotes player who brings a friend (new to hockey only!) who registers with the Coyote’s for the season. A refund form is required to be filled out. Not applicable to siblings as they are already discounted.

New players
We welcome “new to hockey” players in all House League divisions. Free to try one practice session, pay if you stay…contact us for details! [email protected]

Equipment required
Basic Hockey Equipment mandatory for all players- Helmet, Shield/cage, Mouth guard, approved neck Protector, Shoulder pads, Elbow pads, Gloves, Jock, Pants, Shin Pads, Socks, Skates, and a hockey stick.  Players will be supplied a game jersey and socks.

Financial Assistance
The following organizations may provide financial assistance; please contact them directly.

  • Jumpstart Canadian Tire get kids in the game by covering the costs of equipment, registration and/or transportation. Applications for assistance can be submitted from July 1 to November 1 for fall/winter programs. Call 1-877-616-6600. or click https://jumpstart.canadiantire.ca/pages/apply
  • KidSport™ Ontario provides grant assistance to local children 18 years old or younger who are facing financial barriers preventing them from joining organized sport. Friend Requests
Hockey is a great sport to make friends. However, in the interest of creating fair and balanced teams, a friend request will only be accepted where a returning Coyotes player has a friend register who is new to the Coyotes. Please note a player may only make one friend request per season.
